Morocco Itinerary of 14 Days Morocco Trip from Marrakech
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech airport where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel or riad. Depending on arrival time, you may explore Jemaa el-Fna square and the lively medina.
Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass. Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah before continuing to Ouarzazate and the Dades Valley for overnight stay.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert
Travel through spectacular landscapes to Todra Gorges for a short walk. Continue to Merzouga where you will ride camels into the dunes and spend the night in a desert camp.
Day 4: Explore Merzouga Desert
Full day exploring the Sahara Desert including nomad families, Khamlia village, fossil sites, and optional activities like sandboarding and 4×4 desert exploration.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
Travel through Rissani and Alnif, then continue via the beautiful Draa Valley with its palm groves before reaching Ouarzazate.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Taroudant
Visit Ouarzazate and continue to Taroudant, known as “Little Marrakech,” with its ancient walls and traditional souks.
Day 7: Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira
Drive to Agadir for a short stop, then continue along the Atlantic coast to Essaouira. Free time to explore the medina and beach.
Day 8: Essaouira Free Day
Relax in Essaouira, enjoy the beach, explore the port, or discover local art galleries and seafood restaurants.
Day 9: Essaouira – Marrakech
Return to Marrakech with stops along the way. Free evening in the city.
Day 10: Marrakech Guided Tour
Explore Marrakech with a local guide including Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and souks.
Day 11: Marrakech – Casablanca
Travel to Casablanca and visit the Hassan II Mosque and coastal areas.
Day 12: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Visit Rabat monuments then continue to the blue city of Chefchaouen.
Day 13: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fez
Explore Volubilis Roman ruins and Meknes before arriving in Fez.
Day 14: Fez – Departure
Transfer to the airport depending on your flight schedule. End of the tour.
