Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen

Your journey begins with a pick-up from Tangier, followed by a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains. As you approach Chefchaouen, the landscape becomes greener and more dramatic, giving you plenty of opportunities to enjoy panoramic views. Upon arrival, you’ll wander through the enchanting blue-washed alleys, visit Outa El Hammam Square, and walk toward Ras El Ma waterfall. The day ends with free time in the medina before spending the night in a charming hotel or riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes

After breakfast, you enjoy a peaceful morning in Chefchaouen to explore at your own pace, take photos, or relax in a café. Later, the journey to Fes begins, passing through rolling hills and rural landscapes. Depending on your interest, your driver can stop at Volubilis or Meknes before reaching the imperial city of Fes, where you spend the night in a traditional riad inside the medina.

Day 3: Fes to Merzouga Desert via Ifrane, Cedar Forest & Ziz Valley

In the morning, you leave Fes and travel toward the Sahara Desert. The road first takes you through Ifrane, known as the “Little Switzerland” of Morocco, and then into the Cedar Forest where you can see Barbary monkeys. The scenery changes as you cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and reach the vast palm oasis of Ziz Valley. By late afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, where camels wait to take you across the golden dunes. You enjoy a breathtaking sunset, try sandboarding if you wish, and settle into a luxury desert camp for dinner, music, and a magical night under the stars.

Day 4: Merzouga to Dades Valley via Todra Gorge

You wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes before having breakfast in the camp. The journey continues toward Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most impressive canyons with towering cliffs and a clear stream running through it. You have time to explore the gorge before driving toward the Dades Valley, passing Berber villages and lush palm groves. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in a mountain lodge overlooking the valley.

Day 5: Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ouarzazate & Ait Ben Haddou

After breakfast, you drive through the Valley of Roses and reach Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa” due to its film studios. The next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a spectacular fortified village that has been featured in many famous movies and series. From here, you cross the High Atlas Mountains through the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic views and photo stops along the way. By late afternoon or evening, you arrive in Marrakech, where the tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel or riad.
