Morocco 13 Days Desert Tour from Casablanca

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Upon arrival in Casablanca, we welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the Hassan II Mosque. Enjoy a relaxing evening as you prepare for your Moroccan adventure.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah

After breakfast, we visit Rabat, Morocco’s capital, exploring the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Then we continue to the charming coastal town of Asilah, known for its whitewashed medina and artistic atmosphere. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 3: Asilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen

We travel along the Atlantic coast to Tangier, where the Mediterranean meets the ocean. After a short visit, we head towards Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Enjoy free time to explore its beautiful blue streets. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 4: Chefchaouen Exploration

Today is dedicated to exploring Chefchaouen. Walk through its peaceful medina, visit local markets, and enjoy panoramic views from the Spanish Mosque. A relaxing day in one of Morocco’s most picturesque towns.

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

We depart for the Roman ruins of Volubilis, famous for its mosaics. Then we visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, before continuing to Fez. Overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Day 6: Guided Tour in Fez

Explore Fez with a local guide. Visit the ancient medina, Al Qarawiyyin University, the tanneries, and traditional souks. Discover the rich history and culture of Morocco’s spiritual capital.

Day 7: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt

We travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forest. Continue to Midelt, a peaceful town between mountains, where we spend the night.

Day 8: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

We continue our journey through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves, arriving in Merzouga. Enjoy a camel trek across the dunes and spend the night in a Sahara desert camp under the stars.

Day 9: Explore Merzouga Desert

A full day to explore the desert. Visit nomadic families, discover the black desert, and enjoy optional activities such as sandboarding. Relax and enjoy traditional Berber music in the evening.

Day 10: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After sunrise, we travel to Rissani and then to the spectacular Todra Gorges. Walk through the canyon before continuing to the Dades Valley for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

We head to Ouarzazate and visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass and arrive in Marrakech.

Day 12: Marrakech Guided Tour

Discover Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and explore the vibrant medina and Jemaa el-Fna square.

Day 13: Marrakech – Casablanca / Departure

After breakfast, we transfer you to Casablanca or Marrakech airport depending on your flight, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
