Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades valley.
Meet in Marrakech and journey to Ouarzazate via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, admiring the Berber villages along the winding road over the High Atlas Mountains. Explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the largest in Morocco, once home to the Glaoui family. Enjoy lunch at the Kasbah and continue to Dades Gorge through Ouarzazate, known as “the Hollywood of Africa.” Drive along the road of a thousand Kasbahs, passing Kalaat Mgouna, the roses city, and arrive at your hotel in the heart of Dades Gorge.
Day 2 : Dades valley – Todra Gorges – Camel Trekking – Erfoud – Merzouga.
After breakfast, return to the Dades valley to see the remarkable rock formation “the monkey toes” and the 19th-century Kasbah of Ait Yul. Head towards Tinghir and the Todra valley, enjoying panoramic views of mud Berber villages. Explore the Todra Gorges, walking under the 300m high red cliff. Continue to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch. Then, proceed to the village of Merzouga for a camel trek to the top of the sand dunes, capturing memorable sunset photos. Return by camel to a luxury desert camp for dinner and a night under the moonlight and stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Tazarine – Ouarzazate – Marrakech.
We will wake up early to see the spectacle of the sunrise, where the colour of the dunes and the shadows are an awesome sight before coming back for breakfast in the tents restaurant. Today, we will drive from Merzouga to Marrakech via Tazarine ” the Henna capital”. We will have lunch in the way before continuing our day tour to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Atlas mountains.
