5 Days Desert Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Fes

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation or the airport in Casablanca and begin your journey toward Fes. On the way, we’ll stop in Rabat, Morocco’s capital, to visit the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Continue through the countryside to reach Fes, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

After breakfast, depart from Fes through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” and the cedar forest of Azrou, home to wild monkeys. Continue via Midelt and the Ziz Valley, reaching Merzouga in the late afternoon. Enjoy a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset before spending the night in a luxury desert camp under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride camels or drive back to Merzouga village. Then, head to Rissani, known for its traditional market, before continuing to the stunning Todra Gorge — a paradise for rock climbers. After breakfast, drive through the Valley of Roses and Skoura to reach Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 5: Marrakech City Tour & Departure
