Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar Forest – Midelt
We’ll begin our journey from Fes towards the Middle Atlas, stopping first in Ifrane, nicknamed the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, we’ll visit the cedar forest of Azrou, home to playful Barbary macaques. After enjoying the fresh mountain air, we’ll continue through scenic landscapes and Berber villages before arriving in Midelt, where we’ll spend the night in a charming hotel surrounded by the Atlas peaks.
Day 2: Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, we’ll drive south through the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and dramatic gorges. We’ll stop in Erfoud, famous for its fossils and date market, before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara.
